Description
This collection of 3D-printable models is designed to securely mount a 4 mm acrylic panel in a window opening and provide a sealed pass-through for the hose of a Midea PortaSplit air conditioner.
The system consists of modular components that hold the acrylic sheet in place while creating a tight connection around the hose opening. The design focuses on improving the overall sealing of the installation compared to common temporary window solutions.
A well-sealed installation helps reduce the exchange of indoor and outdoor air, which can improve cooling efficiency during hot summer days. The acrylic panel and sealing system can also help reduce the transmission of outside noise through the window opening.

For easier installation a handle that can be mounted to the acrylic sheet is also included. I'm using only one handle, but you can also print two. The distance between the holes for the handle is 110mm.
Hardware needed:
- M4 nuts for the passthrough parts and the thumb screws
- 2xM4 bolts ~8mm with countersunk heads for the passthrough parts
- 2xM4 bolts ~10mm with thumbscrew heads for fixing the last part
- 2xM4 bolts ~10mm with countersunk heads for each handle
- More M4 bolts for the window fasteners
