Apex Sentinel Eagle
The Apex Sentinel Eagle was designed to capture the strength, focus, and presence of one of nature's most iconic birds of prey.
This model stands approximately 207 mm tall (20.7 cm) and was created as a premium display piece for shelves, desks, offices, living rooms, gaming setups, studios, and gift displays.
A large part of the development time went into refining the feather structure. Rather than creating a flat surface texture, I wanted the feathers to have visible depth and layering throughout the entire model. This creates stronger shadows, better detail, and a more realistic appearance once printed.
The file has been heavily optimized for print quality and presentation. My goal was not to make the fastest possible print, but to create a display piece that looks impressive when finished.
Printing Notes
- Model Size: 110.27 × 120.97 × 207.00 mm (as shown in photos)
- Scales perfectly larger or smaller
- Supports are required in several areas, including the rear sections and underneath detailed features.
- Allow the print to cool before removing supports.
- Supports can generally be removed without much difficulty.
- For the cleanest result, I personally use a heat gun on ALL my models after support removal to soften minor support marks and help blend the surface finish.
