Description

Description

****PLEEEEEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU ASK ANY QUESTIONS IN THE COMMENTS BECAUSE CHANCES ARE I ALREADY ANSWERED IT IN THE DESCRIPTION AND IT'LL SAVE US ALL A LOTTA TIME IF YOU READ THE FULL THING FIRST!!! (If you’re unable to view the description for some reason, I highly recommend using the MakerWorld website/browser version so you can access as much information about the model as possible before printing anything!)

************In case it isn’t obvious, DON’T (I repeat, DON'T) try to print the fully-assembled figure included in the project! It's only there for REFERENCE for what the final assembled figure should look like! If you try to print the example reference assembly, it won’t be able to articulate and it’ll basically just be a statue, and that’s IF it even prints successfully at all without totally failing! You have been warned!!!! If anyone asks me about it then that means they didn’t read the description, and I highly recommend you read the description because there’s some pretty important info in here!!!!

I designed this Helldivers 2 “Overseer Illuminate” Dummy 13 figure as a paid request for another MakerWorld user, so be sure to say thanks in the comments if you write a review of the figure! If you’re interested in commissioning me to make any custom figure or model, feel free to reach out to me in the comments or in a private MakerWorld chat message and I’d be thrilled to discuss details!

I’m super stoked about how awesome this figure turned out, and I feel like my skills are improving even more since the last Dummy 13 figure I designed! Maybe I’ll make a Vex Goblin or a Fallen Vandal from Destiny next… If you’re already familiar with Dummy 13 figures, this model functions pretty much the same way (with slightly hindered articulation in certain parts due to the armor design), and the pieces should be fairly intuitive to assemble! Otherwise, the virtual assembled example inside the project can help you figure out which pieces go where! Just be very gentle with the assembly and articulation, since some of the pieces might be fragile and prone to breaking depending on the quality of the material you’re printing with. For the staff, both pieces plug together and need to be connected through the “open” hand piece, since trying to fit the assembled staff into the hand might cause the fingers to break! I repeat, before connecting the staff pieces, slide one end through the open hand first THEN plug them together, and I’d suggest gluing them just to make sure the staff doesn’t fall apart afterwards.

I included 3 print profile variations: Multicolor, Monocolor, and 110% Scale. The Multicolor version is fully painted for multicolor printing, while the Monocolor version is all gray like the example version I printed, and both of those print profiles are scaled to match the height of most Dummy 13 figures. The 110% Scale version is 110% of the original height, making it more accurate to the Overseer’s height compared to other “human” characters/Dummy 13 figures. If you want to print the 110% version in monocolor, just edit the color of each assembly/object to be the same color, and erase all painting using the paint tool.

If you have any issues with pieces or supports, or any questions I didn’t already answer, feel free to discuss them with me in the comments and I’ll do what I can to try to help! I didn’t really have any issues printing or assembling mine, but it might be a good idea to double-check all of your settings and preferences before trying to print anything just in case there’s something you’d rather change for your own version! As always, printer discretion is advised. Print at your own risk!

If you like this model, feel free to check out my profile and my other video game designs including figurines and prop replicas from Minecraft, Fallout, Mario, Pokémon, and more! I'm also willing to consider taking paid requests for making custom designs just like this one, as well as paid commissions to use my own 3D-printers to print any files you have an interest in for an appropriate printing fee for those of you who don't have your own! That includes any of my own designs you might want a printed version of! If you're feeling generous and you'd like to donate/leave a tip to help show your support for my work, you can do so using my PayPal link here: (http://paypal.me/jaebii2), and please consider boosting this upload and leaving a comment/review of your prints! I'd really appreciate it and I'd love to see everyone's finished figures! Bonus points if you print one entirely in multicolor!

And thank you for reading the full description!
