Description

Description

Universal Helping Hand Clamp is a versatile 3D-printable clamp designed to hold parts securely during assembly, gluing, soldering, repairs, and other workshop tasks. The ergonomic design provides a comfortable grip, while the interchangeable jaw system allows the clamp to adapt to different shapes and sizes of workpieces.

The clamp is especially useful as a "third hand" when working with small components, round objects, tubes, rods, and delicate parts that need stable positioning.

Included Jaw Types

This model includes four interchangeable jaw designs:

  • Clamp Jaw Big – large general-purpose jaws for maximum contact area.
  • Clamp Jaw Long – extended jaws for reaching difficult locations.
  • Clamp Jaw Prismatic – V-groove jaws for securely holding round objects, tubes, rods, and cables.
  • Clamp Jaw Small – compact jaws for precision work and small parts.

Features

  • Interchangeable jaw system
  • Comfortable one-hand operation
  • Ideal for assembly, gluing, and repair work
  • Suitable for hobbyists, makers, and workshops
  • V-groove jaws for round objects
  • Fully 3D printable
  • No additional hardware required

Printing Recommendation:
For the best performance, I recommend printing the clamp from PETG. The material provides a good balance of strength and flexibility, allowing the clamp arms to flex repeatedly without cracking. PLA may work for light-duty use, but PETG offers better durability and long-term reliability
