Zuri lives on Zoora's Striped Plains, where the grass grows in light and dark stripes as if someone had carefully painted the ground. She loves to lie very still and look at her own stripes, because she says no line appears by chance. One afternoon, while resting under the gentle wind, she noticed something strange: one of her stripes seemed to continue onto the land. Zuri slowly followed it until she found an almost invisible path, formed by black and white lines that changed places every time she blinked. At the end of the path was a flat stone with a very thin hollow. When Zuri placed her hoof on it, the lines on the ground momentarily aligned and drew a part of the symbol that Cangüi had seen in one of his boxes. It wasn't the complete symbol… but it fit exactly with the part that Rayo saw missing under the water. Since then, Zuri believes that Zoora's stripes not only serve to hide paths… they also serve to connect the clues that the sea and land remember separately.
