I created this pendant spotlight because I needed a soft bedroom light that wouldn't disturb sleep at night. In fact, it creates a light beam only on the area you want to illuminate, in my case, the bedside table next to the bed, to achieve soft room lighting while concentrating it on that specific spot

It can be readapted in the kitchen as lighting for a snack bar table or for any other need

The spotlight is composed of 4 printed parts:

2 are the main parts in PLA or PETG that will simply be joined by screwing them together

1 part in TPU is the sheath that will protect the electrical cable from possible cuts

1 part in PETG is the stopper that will act as a lock for the main body

The extra parts we will need are:

-An LED spotlight with a diameter of about 30mm

I used this one, available in any oriental bazaar type store, and they are recessed spotlights

-An electrical connection cable with a minimum section of 1mm

-An electrical terminal block suitable for the cable we will use

Assembly

As a first step, we will create the very simple electrical part. The cable coming from our home system will be passed through “part 2”. Then, we will pass the “sheath” and block the spotlight with the "cable stopper". At this point, we will connect the two wires from our home system to one side of the terminal block, and on the other side, we will connect the two wires coming out of the small transformer included in the LED shown above, taking care to insert it first into “part 1”, which will snap into place and be blocked by the constriction I created. We will pull the wires out of the threaded end, connecting them to the other side of the terminal block as previously mentioned. Everything is small enough to be included inside the spotlight. As a final step, all we have to do is adjust the wire, definitively blocking it with our “cable stopper”, and screw the two main parts together
