Description

I replaced my broken storm door but the latch did not engage. The Shims previously used did not move the assembly far enough and even after adding the shims from the new door it barely engaged. I designed this shim to match the provided shims and adding one more aligned it correctly. As you can see there are several stacked on my door frame. I will probably scale the thickness to 700% and replace the 7 parts with one but for now it is working perfectly. This design was done in FreeCAD and it matches the latch assembly from Home Depot provided with their low end storm door. My original door lasted for 16 years and hopefully the new one will as well. This is printed in PLA but should work in PETG as well.
