  • Café Latté x 1: Don't forget to drink your morning coffee before printing this one!!

Description

Warning: Contents are highly addictive and spontaneously combustible! ☕🔥
The ultimate novelty sign for anyone who takes their morning caffeine seriously. Bring some industrial humour to your ride or workshop with this custom Dangerous Goods Coffee Placard

Features:

  • Optimised Print: Only 7 layers thick! It requires only 2 colours and just 3 colour changes total on the AMS, keeping filament waste and print time exceptionally low.
  • Textured Plate Finish: Designed and oriented to print face-down. This hides layer lines and gives the front face a beautiful, professional matte-textured finish.
  • Integrated Mounts: Includes holes tailored perfectly for 20mm flat-head suction caps, making it ready to mount to any glass surface.
  • A1 Mini Compatible: At 223mm, the design is maximised to just squeeze onto the A1 Mini build plate so everyone can print one!

Class 4.2 is the official Dangerous Goods hazard code for a spontaneously combustible substance, which is exactly what my morning coffee does… Class 42, is just a bit of fun, the ultimate answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything.

Why I made this:

I’ve actually had this concept bouncing around in my head for several years and originally considered going down a traditional manufacturing pathway to produce them. Finally with a 3D printer at my fingertips, I'm excited to bring this one to life and share it with the community. I hope you enjoy having it on your window as much as I enjoyed finally finishing the project!

Print Settings & Recommendations

  • ⚠️ IMPORTANT MATERIAL NOTE: If you plan to use this as a car window sign, YOU MUST PRINT IT IN PETG (or ABS/ASA). Standard PLA will warp, sag, and melt under the intense heat of a parked car sun. Only use PLA if it is staying strictly indoors on a fridge or office window!
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Orientation: Print Face-Down (Pre-set in the profiles)
  • Colour Customisation: The file is organised into named groups in the slicer (Text/Icons, Placard Background, and Base). You can easily swap my Red/Black scheme for White/Black, Yellow/Black, or whatever high-visibility coffee emergency colour you like!

🛒 Bill of Materials (BOM)

To stick this to your car window, you will need two 20mm flat-head suction caps. You can support my designs by ordering them directly through the Maker's Supply link on this page, or grab them via the official store here: 👉 Bambu Lab PVC Suction Caps with Flat Head

Looking forward to seeing all photos of them in your cars!! 📷⚠️
