Assembly & Printing Guide
Post-Processing: After printing, start by carefully removing the support structures from inside the half-spheres.
- Assembly Process:
- Place the cylindrical insert inside the first half-sphere.
- Slide the connecting ring over it.
- Snap the second half-sphere into place to close it.
- Repeat the exact same steps for the second sphere on the other side of the ring.
- Technical Note: On my print, no glue was required—everything fits together tightly and securely. Please note that the tightness of the snap-fit depends heavily on your 3D printer's calibration and tolerances (feel free to use a drop of superglue if your fit is a bit loose).
