Description

Universal Non-Standard T-Slot Generator for Table Saws and Other Tools

The Problem

Many table saws, router tables and workshop machines use proprietary or non-standard T-slot profiles.

When the original runner breaks, gets lost or becomes worn, finding a replacement can be difficult, expensive, or simply impossible.

This was exactly the case with my Einhell TC-TS 2025/1 U miter gauge, where the original T-slot runner was no longer available as a spare part.

The Solution

Instead of reproducing a single fixed replacement, I designed a fully parametric generator capable of creating custom T-slot runners for non-standard guide rails.

The generated replacement shown in the photos was designed, printed and successfully tested on my Einhell TC-TS 2025/1 U table saw.

The printed runner slides smoothly, fits securely and restores the original functionality of the miter gauge.

The design can easily be printed in PETG, ABS or other engineering materials if higher wear resistance is desired.

Parametric Generator Included

This project includes the OpenSCAD-based parametric generator used to create the replacement part.

The generator allows users to customize:

  • Length
  • Width
  • Height
  • Lip dimensions
  • Fastener positions
  • Fastener types
  • Hole sizes

This makes it possible to adapt the design to many different non-standard T-slot systems found on workshop tools and machines.

Notes

This model was specifically tested on the Einhell TC-TS 2025/1 U, but it may also be useful for other table saws, router tables and workshop equipment that use non-standard guide rails.

Always verify dimensions before printing.
