Description
I present to you the M26 Storage Rack, a modular storage system designed for use with MILITECH's awesome pocket weapons that is highly customizable with more additions coming in the future.
The included 3mf file contains every part currently available for the storage rack, as well as instructions written on the plates explaining the additional pieces.
An AMS unit is not required to print the M26, however the 3mf file contains text modifiers which require an AMS to use. If you do not have an AMS or do not want to print the rack with the text simply delete the text modifiers before printing.
The first 4 plates are the bare minimum needed to assemble the rifle rack.
Additional Modules:
Pistol Rack: The pistol rack shelf will work entirely on it's own, however 4 legs are included on the plate with it to allow you to attach the top shelf to it, stack it, put it at the bottom of the rack, etc.
Shelf: The shelf (referred to as the bottom shelf and shelf extension in the 3mf) is pretty straight forward. It's a shelf to store things on. The bottom most shelf piece is sunk down allowing you to install up to two divider pieces to give you up to 3 spots for organizing spare parts, magazines, etc. The shelf has mesh walls that can be installed to wall off the sides and back of the shelf, they are optional.
Stabilizer: A stabilizing brace for the legs of the rifle rack, they are entirely optional and are mostly a cosmetic option.
Mesh Walls: Mesh/Grate walls for the main rifle rack, currently only for the sides with a back mesh wall planned.
Assembly:
The assembly is pretty straight forward, the stock rest slots into the two connector pieces at the base and the barrel rest slots into the two middle connector pieces. The legs slot into the square holes at each corner of base pieces, both ends of connector pieces, and into the slots on the top of each leg. Minor sanding/filing may be required for the pegs to slot into the holes.
