Hi everyone! I’m excited to share my latest design: a fully articulated Horned Lizard in a Flexi style. It is a "Print-in-Place" model, meaning it requires absolutely no assembly after printing—once you remove it from the bed, it’s ready to move smoothly right away!

I focused heavily on the scale details and the signature "horns" on the head to make it as realistic as possible while maintaining that satisfying, playful flexi movement.

In the photos, you can see the test prints done in both white and sand/beige versions (standard PLA filaments).

Details & Lighting: The models showcase a fantastic rendering of surface textures, with clever hidden joints and an extremely natural flow throughout the body and tail.

šŸ’” Useful Tips

  • First Layer: Make sure your first layer is perfectly calibrated. Since this is an articulated model with many moving parts close together, any first-layer over-extrusion might fuse the joints.
  • Removal: Let the print bed cool down completely before removing the lizard to prevent bending the warm joint pins.
