Recommended Filament
Since this bird feeder is intended for outdoor use, I do not recommend printing it in PLA. While PLA is easy to print, it can become brittle from UV exposure and may deform when exposed to prolonged summer heat.
For the best long-term durability, I recommend:
- PETG
- ABS
- ASA (best choice for outdoor UV resistance)
These materials will help the feeder withstand sun, weather, and temperature changes much better than PLA.
