Description

Minimal Pen Rest / Pillow

Do you love your pen a little too much to risk it rolling off the desk? Especially those sleek, roll-stop-free designs that live dangerously close to the edge?

This might be exactly what you need.

This minimal pen rest features a snazzy geometric design and uses just 3g of filament — a small price to pay for the peace of mind of knowing your precious gold-nibbed fountain pen won't end up in smithereens on the floor. It fits pens up to 15mm in diameter (tested and working with the TWSBI Go and designed around the Eureka fountain pen), and it's already become a permanent fixture on my desk.

I printed it in PETG, but virtually any rigid filament should work just fine.

Tips for best results: Add a few small rubber feet to the bottom for extra grip and stability. I used four 8mm feet and it works like a dream.

Please note: I'm not responsible for any misuse — if your pen still manages to make a break for the floor, that one's on you. Sorry!

I'd love to see your prints and remixes — feel free to share them here!
