Design Description:

This model combines Dragon Boat Festival dragon boats with traditional dragon dance culture, serving as a creative assembly toy with a purely mechanical structure requiring no electronic components. It features 3D printed thin-sheet shapes, is simple to assemble, school-age children can complete it independently, while younger children are suitable for parent-child collaboration. The overall design is lightweight and easy to handle, suitable for all ages, and includes personalized replaceable structures.

1. Segmented Movable Dragon Body
The boat body adopts a segmented thin-sheet assembly structure, with flexible connections between each segment. Once assembled, the dragon body can flexibly bend and sway like a traditional dragon dance, recreating the lively posture of head and tail wagging and winding movement, replicating the control experience of a dragon dance.

2. Dual-Rod Handheld Control System
Equipped with two support rods, held separately with both hands, the dragon boat can be easily controlled to perform various actions such as cruising, circling, and head-and-tail wagging by moving up, down, left, and right, making it quick for both adults and children to get the hang of it.

3. Linkage Paddling Mechanism
A pullable control ring is designed on the support rod; pushing and pulling the ring drives the paddles to swing back and forth, simulating the dynamic effect of real dragon boat paddling, significantly enhancing interactivity and fun.

4. Replaceable Eye Design
The dragon head's eyes feature a modular design, allowing for easy replacement with different styles of eye accessories. Players can match different styles according to their preferences to create their exclusive dragon boat look, adding to the joy of personalized customization and collection.

This movable paper-sheet assembly dragon boat was a process of repeated trial and error refinement.

Because the movable structure of the paper-sheet assembly cannot be directly simulated in 3D software, I had to first roughly build the model's outline, then manually test assemble it with paper cutouts, repeatedly adjusting the 3D structure and movable joints, and only after confirming its feasibility, proceed to print and test it.

Paper cutouts and line details are difficult to complete with AI assistance; all require manual drawing and meticulous line tracing and refinement in 3D software.

Initially, I underestimated the overall workload and encountered many pitfalls during the production process, but I gradually refined it, and I hope everyone likes it.
