Recommended Print Settings

For the best results and the sharpest cutting edge, use these settings:

• Material: PLA or PETG (PLA is highly recommended for rigidity and sharp details).
• Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm (Lower layer heights make for smoother cutting walls and cleaner details on the stamp).
• Infill: 15% - 20% (Gyroid or Grid).
• Walls/Perimeters: 3 (This strengthens the thin cutting wall so it won't flex under pressure).
• Supports: None required. The model is designed to print flat on the build plate.

Tips for the Perfect Clay Impression

1. Clay Thickness: Works best on slabs between 3mm to 6mm thick.
2. Prevent Sticking: If your clay is particularly wet or sticky, lightly dust your clay slab or the stamp with cornstarch (for polymer clay/pottery) or dip the cutter in water (for ceramic clay only) before pressing.
3. Even Pressure: Press the stamp firmly down, rocking your hand very slightly in a circular motion to ensure all the interior whimsical details transfer perfectly. Cut the outline afterward!
4. Cleaning: Wash with warm, soapy water and an old toothbrush. Do not put in the dishwasher, as the high heat will warp PLA.
