Ichthys (also spelled Ichthus, from the Greek: ἸΧΘΥΣ) is an ancient Christian symbol consisting of two intersecting arcs that resemble the profile of a fish. The word "ichthys" is the Greek word for "fish," but early Christians used it as an acrostic for:
- Iēsous (Ἰησοῦς) – Jesus
- Christos (Χριστός) – Christ
- Theou (Θεοῦ) – of God
- Huios (Υἱός) – Son
- Sōtēr (Σωτήρ) – Savior
Put together: “Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior.”
The symbol was used by early Christians as a secret sign to identify one another, especially during times of persecution.
🛠️ Print Settings & Recommendations
- Glue: Glue is required to attach the pen holder to the stand. KRAFTPROTZ 3D Printing Superglue highly recommended for strong and lasting bond.
- Material: Looks fantastic in PLA. Silk, matte, or dual-color filaments work beautifully to highlight the clean lines and subtle layer textures.
- Infill: 15% to 20% (Gyroid recommended for a solid, premium weight).
- Walls/Perimeters: 2–3 walls are plenty for excellent stability and strength.
