3 3/16" Topwater / Subsurface Wake Bait (3-Piece Print)
This is a compact, versatile 3D-printable fishing lure designed to deliver both topwater action and subsurface performance in one slick package.
At 3 3/16 inches long, this bait hits that perfect middle ground—small enough to match baitfish, but chunky enough to get noticed.
🧩 Print Design
- Prints in 3 pieces:
- (2) Body halves
- (1) Internal alignment core
- The alignment piece ensures perfect registration during glue-up
- Optional: swap the alignment piece for a glass rattle to add sound and extra fish-calling power
🔩 Hardware Installation
- Designed for simple, durable assembly
- Hardware is installed by:
- Heating the wire/hook hangers
- Pressing them directly into the plastic body
- Once set, glue the halves together for a solid, permanent build

👀 Customization
- Includes a recessed pocket for 5mm 3D eyes
- Perfect for custom paint jobs—this bait really shines with shad-style finishes, but go wild
🎣 Action & Performance
- Topwater: Pops and spits water cleanly with sharp rod twitches
- Retrieve: On a steady retrieve, it will:
- Dive to about ~1 foot depth
- Produce a tight, shad-style wobble
- Great for targeting:
- Bass
- Crappie
- Any predator feeding on small baitfish
