Keep your AI agents alive.

Ever started a heavy local script, a long compile, or a Claude agent task, only to have your laptop go to sleep the second you close the lid?

This is a simple, functional decoration/gadget to hold your laptop screen in style.

Fully Parametric & Customizable

Every laptop has a different screen thickness. Do not just print the raw STL if it doesn't fit your device.

Click the "Customize" button here on MakerWorld to adjust:

  • Lid Gap: Change the spacing to match your specific laptop screen and base thickness.
  • Clip Width: Make it wider for a tighter, more stable grip.

Global tolerances are set from 0.2mm to 0.3mm.

Print Settings & Recommendations

  • Material: PETG is perfect.
  • Orientation: Print flat on its side for maximum layer strength. No supports needed.
  • Infill: 10% Gyroid is plenty.

I get we do things just because we can, but you can always disable sleep on lid closure or use caffeinated and not look like someone who do not know basic of computers.....

Windows, MacOS, and Linux all have the native ability to disable sleep/shutdown upon lid closure, so it's obvious they're using Claude as a replacement for skills instead of a tool.
