Magnetic Awning Holders for Thule Omnistor
Print Profile(2)

Description
With this mount, you can attach your Thule Omnistor awning feet directly to your vehicle's chassis using magnets – perfect for hard surfaces (asphalt, gravel) or quick setups without drilling any holes!
🛠️ Required Hardware (BOM)
To complete one holder, you will need:
- Magnet: 1x Neodymium Magnet System Ø 88mm rubber-coated with M8 threaded stud (e.g., from Amazon 55kg M8)
- Nut: 1x M8 Hex Nut (13 mm wrench size)
🖨️ Print Settings & Material
- Material: Since this part is exposed to UV light, weather, and mechanical stress, use at least PETG. ASA or PA6-CF (Carbon Fiber Nylon) are highly recommended.
Supports: Supports are required, but only for the main shoe structure.
⚠️ Important: Use a support blocker (marked as a red block in the 3MF file) inside the nut cavity so that no supports are generated there!
- Pause at Height (Insert Nut): Add a pause command in your slicer right before the nut cavity is closed. Insert the M8 nut during the pause, then resume the print. The nut will be fully embedded.
💡 Extra Feature
The holders feature side holes. This means you can also use them on regular ground by securing them with tent pegs instead of the magnets.
