Description

Finally!! - a SILENCER for your PADDLEBOARD.

Video of it in use at

Stand Up Paddleboarding on an inflatable paddleboard is great fun (as long as you don't have a manual pump!) - but when it's time to deflate the board, the loud burst of air when you release the valve can be loud and is usually straight into your ears.

I downloaded a device last year to help with that but the model was incomplete and not great, so I decided to build my own one.

This print has a diverter built into the connector which presses and unlocks the valve, whilst acting as a reducer, restricting the air flow to a more silent one which is then ejected sideways through the handle.  If you want to silence it further, you can also push a small cleaning sponge into the center of the handle too, but this will slow the deflation and I don't think you need to.  Either way, the connector allows you to leave the handle connected for a minute or two to deflate slowly.
