Description
Dreame A2 Ballast Box – More Traction for Difficult Terrain
This ballast box was specially designed for the Dreame A2 to improve the traction of the drive wheels and optimize the weight distribution of the robotic lawnmower
Advantages
- Simple and quick assembly without modifications to the robotic lawnmower
- Relief of the front axle
- Higher load on the rear axle for better traction
- Particularly helpful on slopes, damp ground, or slippery areas
- Can be individually filled with ballast material
Installation
Installation takes place directly under the mower:
- Loosen the carrying handle of the Dreame A2
- Insert the ballast box into the designated position
- Remount the carrying handle and thereby secure the ballast box
No drilling, gluing, or permanent modifications to the device are required
Ballast
The box can be filled with various materials. With dry sand, it achieves an additional weight of approximately 1.3 kg. This shifts the center of gravity backward, relieving the front axle and improving the traction of the rear wheels
Note
The use of additional weights is at your own risk. Driving behavior and battery life may change depending on the ballast weight
