Description

Designed to specifically fit the GUS ISO20 ER20MS collet wrenches that come supplied with the Sienci ATC. I found the wrenches to be decent quality but still a bit thin if you need to use them frequently. These soft grip handles should help stop the metal wrench handles digging into your hands when tightening collets.

 

This slip-on handle transforms standard ISO20 collet wrenches into comfortable, high-traction tools. It adds a thick, cushioned profile exactly where you apply pressure, drastically reducing hand fatigue during tool changes. Contoured to fit comfortably in the palm while preserving full control. Designed for a tight friction fit so the handle transfers power directly to the steel without rolling, twisting, or sliding off. I have included the STEP files alongside the print files! If your wrench has a slightly different thickness or profile, you can easily drop it into your CAD software and adjust the internal cutout to fit your exact brand. Want to add a specific texture? You'll be able to do that with the STEP files as well.

 

I designed these files in about 10 minutes, so remixes and improved versions from the community are highly encouraged.

 

Print Instructions

To get a grip that is genuinely soft and cushioned, I used the following settings:

  • Filament: 90A TPU
  • Walls / Perimeters: 2 (More walls will make it too stiff)
  • Infill Density: 15% (Due to the design, you can likely get away will less if you want an even softer grip)
  • Infill Pattern: Gyroid (Seems to most closely acts like a uniform sponge under pressure, preventing harsh hard spots)
  • ***Use Fuzzy Skin*** (This provides some grip and texture to the handle)

 

Assembly

Simply slide the handle on once printed. This is a friction fit. The internal slot is designed to tightly fit the wrench contour so it stays put one installed. The TPU allows the handle to slightly deform to allow it to be put in place.

Please print and remix this model as much as you want. Please do not use this model for commercial use. This model includes the native STEP files alongside the standard print-ready .3mf files.
