Boost Me (for free)

If you enjoy my designs, consider giving them a Boost. It’s completely free for you and it truly helps support future creations and new models.

I am so happy to introduce you my original

“Aerial Grace”

This sculpture was born from persistence, patience, and countless iterations. Sooo many mistakes, print after print. It has been exhausting.

What began as a simple idea turned into days of trial and error, redesigns, failed prints, and fine-tuning before finally reaching the balance and elegance I had envisioned.

Inspired by the strength and beauty of aerial acrobatics, the model captures a performer suspended in a dramatic inverted pose, seemingly floating above flowing fabric. Every detail was carefully adjusted to achieve both visual impact and printability.

A challenging project, but one that made the final result all the more rewarding.

If you print it, I'd love to see your make!

Supports

I would recommend not changing the supports settings: I have tried countless alternatives and ended up with a graveyard of drapes, as the print would fail on the left arm due to the detachment of the supports from the plate if they were too flimsy.

I also tried to use PETG for support interface when I made my basic white version, which took waaay too long.

If you try with less than “strong” supports, I would recommend putting some glue under the support to her left hand, as this is the one that failed consistently by detaching from the plate due to the long strain while printing the rest of the arm.

When removing supports, I recommend cutting them 10-15mm under the model to snap it and then gently pull it away from the print.

Size: 141 x 134 x 201mm

I hope you guys like this dynamic sculpture as much as I do. It was a tricky one indeed, but I am so happy to finally have it out in the house!

I haven't touched any settings, but when I issue the slice command, the right hand has no support generation (as happened to another user in the comments) I haven't proceeded with the printing because I know it would be a disaster. Could you please check the support settings for your project?

Selected Marble PLA and clicked print. Haven't changed any settings. Was wondering what's all that mess on print bed. Now she's disabled without one hand 🙈 Same support settings will not work for everyone I suppose

I don’t understand, why the supports didn’t come up for the upper leg either??? Weird! I am not sure what happened there?

I have no clue. Selected filament, sliced and sent to printer overnight. Woke up to some loose bits on bed and noticed that she's disabled. I think I will melt her hand with torch into a stump lol
