💭 Designer's Note

I wanted to create something that felt timeless.

Many of us remember placing paper over coins, leaves, or textured objects and discovering hidden patterns through rubbing. There was something magical about watching an image slowly appear with every stroke.

These Dinosaur Rubbing Plates bring that same sense of discovery to a new generation while combining creativity, learning, and imaginative play.

My goal was to create a simple toy that sparks curiosity, encourages artistic exploration, and continues providing enjoyment long after the print is finished. I kept the modeling process simple by leveraging makerworld's makerlab tool: relief sculpture maker version 2 so that I can focus on the actual scene and character designs on the plates.
