Important note: The print file contains 2 versions:

1. Standard dimensions with a reduced inner basket: This would be my standard recommendation. This version definitely fits into your pump and at the same time offers enough space inside so that you don't have to force the filter balls in.

    

2. Standard dimensions with a reduced inner basket for less material consumption: This is the same version as the first one, but I have used chamfers where there is “dead space”. This reduces unnecessary material consumption - however, only use this variant if you are sure that your print bed adhesion is sufficiently good!

Right! And now for my actual text!

I was simply fed up with these annoying cartridge filters. I didn't necessarily want to switch to sand filters, as the “normal” filter pumps themselves work well; especially for smaller pools, they are completely sufficient. So I thought I'd simply solve the problem myself using CAD and a 3D Printer.

The result so far is a filter basket in size IV and now also in size III.

Due to all the holes, the part naturally has an incredible number of outer walls, resulting in quite long print times at 0.2mm layer height. I am providing you with the model with my settings - feel free to increase the layer height and/or print speed, for example (at your own risk, of course 😉).
