Bring your Gridfinity setup to life with Glow-finity, a fully modular illuminated Gridfinity base designed around the S-Shaped LED Strip Light Kit.

Glow-finity combines organization and lighting into a single system. The translucent Gridfinity-compatible plates allow LED light to shine through the base while still supporting your favorite Gridfinity bins, tool holders, organizers, and accessories.

Whether you're building a glowing desk setup, workshop organizer, display platform, or gaming station, Glow-finity can expand to fit your needs.

How It Works

Each Glow-finity section consists of two primary parts:

• A lower base that contains the LED routing channels
• A snap-on Gridfinity top plate

Multiple sections can be connected together using the included clips, allowing you to create anything from a small illuminated organizer to a large glowing Gridfinity workspace.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Choose Your Layout

Before assembly, decide how large you want your Glow-finity setup to be.

Print as many base sections as needed for your workspace.

A single section works great for small organizers, while multiple connected sections create larger illuminated Gridfinity systems.

Step 2: Connect the Sections

Use the included connector clips to join the sections together.

The clips snap into place and hold the boards securely while keeping everything aligned.

As your storage needs grow, simply add additional sections later.

Step 3: Route the LED Strip

Once your boards are connected, install the S-Shaped LED Strip into the routing channels on the underside of the base.

The channels are designed to guide the strip around the board while keeping wiring organized and hidden.

You can follow the routing pattern shown in the photos or customize the path to fit your preferred lighting effect.

Step 4: Install the Top Grid Plates

After routing the LEDs, align the top Gridfinity plates with the base sections.

The plates snap into place, covering the LED channels while allowing light to shine through the translucent material.

No glue or additional hardware is required.

Step 5: Power On

Connect your LED strip to power and enjoy your illuminated Gridfinity setup.

The translucent design creates a smooth glowing effect while maintaining full Gridfinity functionality.

Using Glow-finity

Once assembled, Glow-finity works just like a standard Gridfinity base.

Add your favorite:

• Storage bins
• Tool holders
• Parts organizers
• Electronic component trays
• Workshop accessories
• Desk organizers

The illuminated base creates a unique visual effect while keeping everything organized and accessible.

Printing Recommendations

• Translucent filament provides the strongest glow effect
• White filament creates softer light diffusion
• PLA and PETG both work well
• Print multiple sections at once if building a larger setup

Expand Your Setup

One of the biggest advantages of Glow-finity is that it is never limited to a fixed size.

Need more storage later?

Simply print additional sections, connect them using clips, route additional LED strips, and continue expanding your illuminated Gridfinity system.

Build it as large or as small as your workspace requires.
