🛠️ Recommended Print Settings
To ensure the necessary robustness to support the weight of waste, follow these guidelines:
- Filament:
- PETG: Recommended for its flexibility and superior robustness compared to PLA
- ASA/ABS: Recommended if the trash bin will be exposed to sunlight (outdoor or very hot garage) for UV and heat resistance. With ASA, it is recommended to increase infill
- Layer Height: 0.24mm (for faster printing, aesthetics are secondary to function)
- Perimeters: At least 4 perimeters. This is crucial for the integrity of the screw holes and the side profile
- Supports:
- There are overhangs in the frame and lid. It is recommended to use a different material for easier removal
📦 What you need for installation
- Screws and Wall Plugs: 4 wall screws appropriate for the wall type (plasterboard, brick, concrete) and 4 corresponding wall plugs
