This thoughtfully designed double pot is made specifically for orchids (Phalaenopsis and other epiphytes) that require excellent root aeration and proper moisture control. Thanks to the modern flush-fit design, the inner insert fits neatly inside the outer cachepot, creating a clean, minimal, and seamless silhouette.

The key technical advantage of this model: absolutely no supports required for printing!

✨ Key Features

• Elegant flush-fit design:
The inner insert features a carefully designed tapered flange that expands outward and locks securely into the matching chamfer of the outer pot. Together they create a seamless one-piece appearance.

• Support-free printing:
All overhangs, including the upper rim of the insert, are optimized at a 45° angle. Just load the model and press Print.

• Bottom-watering system:
The outer pot includes a built-in water reservoir and a dedicated integrated channel for a watering tube.

• Maximum root aeration:
The inner insert features wide ventilation slots on the walls and drainage openings on the bottom. Your orchid roots can breathe freely, which is essential for preventing root rot.

• Air gap protection:
A safe air gap is maintained between the water reservoir and the bottom of the insert to help regulate moisture and protect the roots.

⚙️ Recommended Print Settings

To ensure the outer pot remains watertight and durable, I recommend the following settings:

• Material: PETG (best choice for water resistance and durability) or high-quality PLA (such as Bambu PLA)
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Walls / Wall loops: Minimum 3 walls (most important for watertightness!)
• Top / Bottom layers: 5 layers
• Infill: 20% (Gyroid pattern recommended)
• Supports: Disabled
