🧩 Easy Assembly
All parts adopt snap-fit or slot design, allowing for preliminary assembly by hand. To adapt to different printer models, I intentionally left wider tolerances in some areas. If parts are loose, a small amount of glue can be used to fix them, which will not affect the appearance and function. It is recommended to try assembling first before deciding whether to use glue.

⚙️ Minimal Supports
To account for complex structures and printing success rate, only a very small amount of support is reserved in the model (concentrated in local overhang areas). After printing, it can be removed with simple processing, without spending a lot of time cleaning.

Due to rich structural details or large volume, the total print time for this model is usually longer (official default settings). However, each print will result in a sturdy, reliable, and worthwhile finished product.

Pilot: A red fish, from the Third Field Maintenance Team of Qingyuan Deep Sea Research Station. Its name is Gun Gun, and its name is like its body shape, round and plump.

Appearance

The Blue Crab is a heavy-duty protective mech with a square silhouette, specially designed to provide a life-sustaining environment for the Qingyuan deep-sea fish species when operating on land or space stations. The hood is made of transparent high-strength material, filled with harmonic crystal circulating fluid. When Gun Gun blows bubbles in the hood, the bubbles stick to the inner wall for a long time without breaking.

The two main arms are thick, each equipped with a crab claw-like manipulator at the end. It can tighten bolts, clamp pipes, and transfer snacks from the left hand to the right hand when the supervisor is not around. There is an additional robotic arm on the back, with independent joints, capable of grabbing replacement parts from the bowl-shaped parts slot behind. Besides parts, the slot also perpetually contains compressed snack bars, harmonic crystal gummies, and a pack of roasted fish slices claiming to be "emergency reserves".

Story

Gun Gun is widely recognized as the most slacking field mechanic at Qingyuan Deep Sea Research Station. Not that he's inefficient—he fixes things faster than anyone else. He's fast because once repairs are done, he can legitimately go into standby mode, and during standby, he can "check if the thermostatic function of the back parts slot is normal".

Once, while he was repairing a loose panel on the exterior wall of the space station, the supervisor asked about the progress on the channel. He said he was checking if surrounding parts were affected. In reality, he was eating a pack of harmonic crystal gummies, and the sound of the wrapper being peeled was perfectly covered by the mechanical sound of the crab claw. Afterward, the supervisor retrieved the operation records and found that he had stayed in the same spot for twenty minutes. Gun Gun's explanation was that the panel needed to cool down. In a vacuum.

The Blue Crab's back robotic arm was originally only used for grabbing parts, but Gun Gun secretly added a rotary joint to it, allowing him to conveniently push snacks from the deepest part of the bowl-shaped slot to the shallower part when retrieving parts. This modification was not written in any maintenance report, but all similar Blue Crab armors developed by Qingyuan Deep Sea were equipped with this rotary joint by default in subsequent versions.
