here are a few important tips based on those images before you glue or fully close everything up:

The Mechanism & Rubber Bands: Inside, you will see two pins sticking out on the sides. You can wrap a rubber band around each pin multiple times to fine-tune the tension.

Secure the Bands (Fishing Line): Important! When the mechanism snaps forward, the rubber bands might fly off the pins due to the impact. To prevent this, take a thin string (like fishing line) and tie a tight knot around the rubber band right at each pin so they stay locked in place.

The Pull Cord: The rear piece (where the cord attaches) slides into the upper part of the main body. Thread the cord through that back piece, and then you can attach it to the ring element to make it much easier to pull.

grease it up: Before closing it all up, make sure to put some grease or lubricant on the sliding parts so everything runs completely smooth and doesn't friction against the 3D-printed texture.

Make sure to test the mechanism a few times to check the tension before you do the final assembly.
