Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The complex feather textures and sweeping contours of this model were successfully verified and printed using matte black PLA.

• Infill: Display model printed at 5%. Load-Bearing Pro-Tip: While the wingtips extend downwards to distribute weight, the top deck absorbs the direct load. If you intend to use it for heavier items, we highly recommend pushing the infill to 25% and adding 4 wall loops (perimeters) to secure maximum strength.
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Supports: Required beneath the main top ledge overhang and within the deep recesses of the primary feathers for a clean finish.

Sizing Information: The model is scaled to a standard size optimized for striking wall displays. Please feel free to freely resize the model based on your desired use inside your slicing software, whether you want to upscale it into a bold focal console or downscale it into a delicate custom jewelry holder.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
