TENPAI - SERIE 6 (BONSAI FIGURES)

We call tenpai the small figurines, usually made of bronze, that are placed in bonsai pots to create the optical illusion of greater size. Searching online, I realized that there are no printable options for this art, so I decided to design some. I hope you like them; if I see a good reception, I will continue designing other models.

IMPORTANT: If you are going to print this design more than once, please do not download it. Always print it from this publication. PRINT PROFILES:

On this occasion, I have uploaded two print profiles, with AMS (although it is not necessary for printing), with the four PLA colors that I consider most suitable loaded. Let me know if it is more convenient for you than loading a profile for each material. So, in the first slot there is PLA Marble, in the second PLA Silk Gold, in the third PLA Metal Copper, and in the fourth PLA Basic Grey. And another with PETG, in case you are going to place the figures outdoors, as it is more resistant.

Among the PLA profiles, there is one with adaptive layers, slower but higher quality, and another with standard layers.

DOWNLOADABLE STLs:

On one hand, you have an .stl file available with the group of 4 medium-sized figures and their wedges, and on the other, I have also uploaded an .stl with the wedge for inserting into the soil, in case it deteriorates or breaks and you need to print more of them.

RECOMMENDED MATERIALS:

I have included two options: PLA Marble, to give a statue effect, and PLA Rose Gold and PLA Copper, which will give a bronze-like effect, which is, after all, the most suitable for tenpai.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

Assembly is simple: just clear the internal support from the figure's hole and insert the wedge. The fit should be good, but if you wish, you can add a little contact glue to prevent the figure from staying in the pot if you remove it from the soil.
