Description

Claude is a very popular AI for programming, and some time ago a mascot called Clawd appeared.

I really like magnet based detachable parts and models that allow customization in some way. One thing I enjoy about decorative prints is being able to swap accessories around or simply display them separately.

I included two versions in the print profile:

1. A version without magnets, featuring Clawd with separate eyes.
2. A version that uses two 6x6x3 mm magnets (and requires two print pauses), allowing accessories to be attached to the head or mouth.

Printing Notes

* (Magnet version) Clawd uses two 6x6x3 mm magnets. The tolerances are set in Bambu Studio to 0.15 x 0.15 x 0.10 mm, it's embedded magnet
* The eyes are separate parts and require a small amount of glue.

Accessories

There are three accessories included: a Santa hat, a fancy top hat, and a mustache. If you don't have an AMS, you can add color change pauses manually.

* Santa Hat: The white pom pom requires a small amount of glue. The hat uses one 6x6x3 mm magnet in the base (adjustable in Bambu Studio).

* Fancy Top Hat:** Uses one 6x6x3 mm magnet in the base (adjustable in Bambu Studio).

* Mustache: Uses one 5x5x2 mm magnet in the base (adjustable in Bambu Studio).

Creating Your Own Accessories (Voxel Style)

I used MagicaVoxel to create the accessories. I defined a voxel size of 1.2 units. The hat base is 22x22 voxels, and after importing it into Blender I scaled it by 12x. The mustache was modeled directly in Blender because of its diagonal contours.

Clawd size:  90 × 60 × 20 mm

Total magnets (full print): 4 * 6x6x3 + 5x5x2   → Clawd (2 * 6x6x3) + hats (2 * 6x6x3) + mustache (5x5x2)
