I designed this filament hub protector for the A1 and A1 Mini, which supports the PTFE tubes. This 5-hole guide version is for using the AMS with the external spool holder. The novelties of this new version are: The side hooks that rest on the extruder body have been shortened in depth and reinforced to have less flex when the extruder moves from right to left and vice versa. Finally, the numbers and the Bambulab logo are printed on a separate plate, thus avoiding the many material scraps resulting from multiple color changes, and you can also choose the arrangement of the numbers that are connected to the PTFE tubes. Regarding the Bambulab logo, it snaps into the negative part printed on the HUB protector. For convenience and safety, it is advisable to put a few drops of glue behind the logo before inserting it, to prevent vibrations from causing the logo to detach over time. In this latest version, thanks to the possibility of printing on two different plates, there will be less material waste and, more importantly, the total production time is more than halved.
