Description

Scale models of the planets in our solar system that can be made into fridge magnets!

Magnet hole: 3.5mm x 9mm, fits the 5/16" magnets they sell at Harbor Freight

Mercury Venus Earth Mars and Earth's moon, dwarf planets - 3 colors each, A1 mini compatible

Neptune and Uranus full rings - I used rings to save filament but these do not fit on a mini

45 degree slivers of Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter, Saturn - these would fit on an A1 mini!

Why just 45 degree slivers? Because at this scale, Jupiter would have to be 549 mm (21.6 inches) and Saturn would be 457mm (18 inches) and our printer beds just aren't that big!

The dwarf planets are too small to fit on a magnet so they are all together which makes sense because they're a category, right? Pluto, Eris, Quaoar, all our favorites. This is a great way to explain why the dwarf planet category was created. If anyone ever tells you Pluto should be a planet and you ask them what to do about Eris and they say “what's Eris?” well today is their day to learn, isn't that cool?

A pause is inserted at layer 20 to put in the magnets.
