Description
Many of us require a ventilation system to remove the smoke and harmful odor caused by the printers. And if you are running the printer ventilation duct through a double hung window, then you need a way to lock your window like normal. This lock extension will extend the window sash enabling the window to lock again.
I used ABS for this design because it is a safety feature. In this case, someone would have to break the window glass before they will break this part.
In my home, I also needed a “wedge” to guarantee the bottom hook of this lock will not come out by accident. This may not be necessary in your application.
