This insert was more of a concept of “Can I” vs “Should I”?
Many people have been in this scenario, you're out camping and need to charge your phone. The M18 Milwaukee Topoff is a great solution to this issue. However, What happens when multiple people need a charge, or you need to charge more than 3 devices? This insert is a hairbrained idea I had when this popped into my mind.
This insert is meant to store the M18 Topoff (2846-20), One battery, including the M18 12.0, charging cords, and a small extension cord to plug the top off into the power inlet.
At the top left of the insert is the space for the Topoff itself. To the right is a 15a power inlet, to plug an extension cord into either the Topoff or a wall outlet. Underneath is space for the battery and charging cords. And the pièce de résistance, the power strip. Allowing you an additional 120v plug, 2 USBA and 1 USBC. The amazon page also has a different orientation.
Both pieces that are ordered from Amazon have a plug end, making it user friendly to install and doesn't require any wiring. The Cables route underneath the cable tray on the right hand side.
