Powermatic 66 Table Saw Floor
Print Profile(1)

Description
If you're familiar with the bottoms of the 66s being flat you'll know dust collects in the corners. If not careful with some condensate the floor will rust out as in my case. I designed this floor to replace the bottom of my saw. While doing so I wanted to streamline and urge the sawdust to get to the dust port which is why it is shaped a bit like the inlet on an F22. Anyway I designed it to begin at the top of the access hole, sweep under the motor opening and then slope on toward the dust collection port. The print has 6 parts that have to be assembled. I used epoxy, hot staples and silicon sealant around the edges. You can assemble three and three together to make two parts prior to putting into the machine. Then you only have two pieces to worry about once inside the machine. Seals well and dust doesn't hang around in the machine anymore. It's a happy machine ;)
