Description

I designed this 35mm film holder because I wanted something quick, clean, and easy to use for DSLR/mirrorless scanning.
It’s intentionally a bit wider so it can also handle 35mm panoramic negatives shot through medium format cameras (like an RB67 with 35mm film).

The film channel has a 0.6 mm gap, which gives a snug fit on my Ender 3.
Depending on your printer, this may vary slightly so feel free to scale or adjust if needed.

Print settings:

  • Material: PLA or PETG
  • Orientation: Print on its side for easy support removal
  • Supports: Only in the window
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Print time: ~3.5 hours (Ender 3 Neo )

Just place it on a light pad, slide your film through, and scan with your camera.

If you want a standard-width version (no panoramic support), I can upload one on request.
