AGM-65 Maverick Air-to-Ground Missile – 1:48 Scale

This model represents the AGM-65 Maverick in 1:48 scale and was developed as a detailed addition for modern jet models It is ideal for depicting realistic air-to-ground loadouts and complements existing armament configurations with one of the most famous precision missiles of modern NATO aircraft

The characteristic design of the AGM-65 with its distinctive control surfaces and typical seeker head was reproduced as faithfully as possible At the same time, the model was optimized for reliable 3D printing to enable stable and clean printability on common FDM printers

5 Color Model

Since this model requires 5 colors in the AMS version, you need to know how to print in an AMS with 5 colors First, load the colors Grey/Olive, Yellow, Red, and Brown into the AMS When you start the print, you must ensure that the slot for Black corresponds to that of the Brown filament Then let the printer start the job, wait until it finishes with the brown layers, and remove the brown filament from the AMS and insert the black one

Applications

The AGM-65 is particularly suitable for ground attack and CAS configurations of modern jets Among others, it pairs well with aircraft such as the A-10 Thunderbolt II, the F/A-18 Super Hornet, or various other NATO aircraft

Due to its compact yet distinctive design, it complements modern loadouts particularly well and provides a realistic overall effect

Compatibility

The model was designed to optically integrate harmoniously with the style of 1:48 scale COBI aircraft and can be flexibly combined with other weapon and pod systems The model is painted for a Navy version for an Army version simply use olive instead of light grey.

The AGM-65 Maverick is an air-launched precision missile used to engage ground and armored targets It has been used for decades by various NATO air forces and is one of the most recognized air-to-ground missiles on modern fighter aircraft

Development

This model was designed at the request of GrimBrew222 and subsequently specifically optimized for 3D printing The focus was on good printability, stable construction, and the most realistic implementation possible in 1:48 scale
