Transform your child’s playhouse into a fully equipped fire station with this oversized decorative mailbox designed specifically for backyard playhouses.

This project was created for my son Alexander’s “Station 19” firehouse and was designed to look like a real firefighter mailbox while remaining durable, printable, and easy to install.

Unlike many playhouse accessories, this mailbox uses a removable post and floor tile mounting system that allows installation without drilling into the playhouse itself.

Unique Mounting System

The mailbox is supported by a wooden post that locks into an integrated floor tile system.

The floor tiles slide beneath the playhouse and are held in place by the weight of the structure itself, creating a surprisingly sturdy installation without ground stakes, concrete, or screws into the playhouse.
