The Story: The Sentinel's Hearth
Deep within the forgotten catacombs of the Obsidian Citadel lies the Sentinel’s Hearth. For centuries, six stone gargoyles have kept watch over this sacred, octagonal dais, guarding a dormant relic of ancient power. The candles lining the skull-embedded arches never truly burn out; they flicker with the residual essence of souls passed. It is said that any warrior, deity, or artifact placed upon this altar absorbs the protective strength of the sentinels, forever shielded from the shadows that creep beyond the cathedral walls. Place your champion upon the stone, or light the central flame to awaken the wardens.
Print Settings & Tips
- Layer Height: 0.16 mm (Recommended for capturing all the intricate details of the gargoyles and skulls).
- Infill: 6% Gyroid (Provides excellent structural support while saving material).
- Build Plate Adherence: CRITICAL TIP! Please make sure your build plate is thoroughly cleaned (warm water and dish soap or IPA) before starting the print to ensure perfect first-layer adhesion.
- Finishing Touch: The model in the photos was printed and then carefully hand-painted with acrylic paints using dry-brushing techniques to preserve the authentic 3D-printed layer texture for a rugged, stone-like look.
