Critical Insertion Instructions
To ensure the longevity of the retention clips and prevent damage to your cartridges, follow the specific directional slide-in method for both panels:
- Do not push cartridges straight down vertically into the slots. * Columns 1 and 2 (from the left): Slide the cartridges in horizontally from the right side.
- Column 3 (far right): Slide the cartridges in horizontally from the left side.
This layout applies identically to both the left and right inner panels of the case. Following these sliding directions ensures optimal friction lock and easy retrieval.
Opening and Adjustment Instructions
- Unlocking the Case: Unlock the spring tab by lightly pressing upwards horizontally until an audible click sound indicates successful separation from the bottom panel.
- Latching Caution: Do not force the cover open. Lightly relieve the latch to disengage the mechanism safely.
- Slot Tightness Adjustment: The tension of the cartridge slot is adjustable. Use a dull tool to very slightly pry the corner triangle upward by 0 mm to 0.5 mm to relieve pressure if the fit is too tight.
Print Recommendations
- Material: PLA Recommended (PETG is also compatible).
- Layer Height: 0.2mm for precise latch and track tolerances.
- Infill: 15%–20% gyroid or grid infill.
- Supports: No supports required. The usage of supports will disrupt the elastic mechanism.
- Brim: Outer brim only, with a brim width of 5 mm–8 mm. This is required on open-frame 3D printers to prevent warping.
