THE MODEL :

Dominate the room with unprecedented boldness using this spectacular centerpiece. This Baroque masquerade mask reinterprets the silhouette of the fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex, the undisputed king of prehistoric predators. The massive lines of its iconic jaw and fierce profile are beautifully elevated by dense Rococo scrollwork and finely chiseled acanthus leaves. This striking contrast tells the story of primitive raw power elevated to the ranks of refined high-society luxury. It is the ultimate statement piece for a high-impact fantasy cosplay or to display as a dark contemporary art sculpture on your shelves.

Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The rich textures and deep high-reliefs of this model were successfully validated using matte black PLA.

  • Infill: Set at 5% for the display setup. Slicing Pro-Tip: Due to the physical volume of the snout, if you plan to mount straps and wear it, we suggest boosting the infill to 15-20% and thickening the nose bridge walls to secure a perfect center of gravity on your face.
  • Nozzle: 0.4 mm
  • Supports: Required beneath the upper jaw curvature and inside the deep eye sockets.

Sizing Information: The file is scaled to standard adult facial proportions. Please feel free to freely resize the model based on your desired use inside your slicing software, whether to custom-fit your exact facial structure or to downscale it into an imposing miniature desk trophy.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
