Description

Hi all!

I created a simple attachment for your resort refillable mugs to help customize them a little more.  Last time I went, my son and I both got the same color mug so it was hard to differentiate the two.  With this print, you can simply slide these prints within the crevice of the handle so you can tell them apart.

To change the name, double click on the text in Bambustudio to make the Text window appear so you can change the name and adjust text size if needed:

The prints fit in snuggly into the handle, but to add a little bit more reinforcement, I added some holes inside the print to place magnets.  So you can place 2 - 6mm x 2mm magnets in each piece. This way, when you place both name plates in on each side, the magnets can connect to add a little bit more reinforcement. I added a pause to the print so you can add the magnets and then resume.

I will add another file without the magnets as well if you're feeling a little risky, but no guarantees how they will hold up without the magnet backup.

Please keep the settings as they are. I added supports to the edges of both side so when you remove them,  there is a little lip to help you remove the pieces from the handle crevice when needed.  I suggest using a key or something like that to slide in to help pop them out when you need to clean the cup.

Feedback is always welcome! Thanks all!

This is a great design, but the magnetic versions do not have the 6mm location to insert the magnets. Are there plans to upload any time soon? "I added some holes inside the print to place magnets.  So you can place 2 - 6mm x 2mm magnets in each piece."

Hey, I just re-checked, and the holes are def there. They are inside the print. If you click on "open in bambustudio", go to preview and move the layer down to layer 13, you can see the holes there. The magnets are not exposed on the bottom to keep it child safe and not have any glue needed. There is a thin layer of filament on the bottom to hold the magnet in and keep it child safe. There is a pause in the 3mf print to allow the print to stop to add the magnet and then resume.
