Description
The Green Lantern legend centres on the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic police force selected by the Guardians of the Universe Green Lantern | DC Comics Superhero, Origin & Powers. Chosen for their fearless willpower, Corps members wield power rings that construct hard-light objects limited only by the wearer's imagination
Hal Jordan, a cocky test pilot working at Ferris Aircraft, is chosen by the ring, and transported to the crash site. Abin Sur provides Hal with his ring, telling him to place it in the lantern and speak the oath, before succumbing from his wounds. Hal takes the lantern, recites the oath, and appoints himself as a Green Lantern.
