Description
A simple, quick-to-print, and exceptionally well-thought-out replacement for traditional screws, dowels, or plastic clips. The model was designed for tool-free assembly – perfect for anywhere something needs to be quickly and securely snapped into place.
The design consists of a flat, square base and a special pin. This pin perfectly slides into standard "keyhole" slots and locks the panel in place.
This is an ideal solution for DIY projects, mounting panels, LED strips, organizing spaces, or simply as a replacement part for broken factory clips.
How to print it?
The model should be printed flat, with the base on the build plate. Due to the mushroom-shaped overhang, supports are required for proper printing of the overhang.
For light applications, regular PLA is sufficient. However, if you need something more flexible and wear-resistant (so the pin doesn't break with frequent insertion and removal), I recommend using PETG, ABS, or ASA. Set infill to 15% and layer height to a standard 0.2 mm.
