Hero Factory 3D Printable (Experimental)

I have finally decided to share this project with you all. I didn't want it to remain forever on my hard drive, even though I still consider it a "work in progress".

⚠️ What you should know before printing

This model uses the L3G0 Hero Factory system. It is crucial to understand that these parts were not originally designed for 3D printing.

• The 3D models are correct, but the print profile is challenging.
• The parts are fragile, have very small details, and require patience.
• My current profile works, but there is much room for improvement. I encourage you to test, experiment with tolerances, and publish your own print profiles to help the community.

🛠️ How did I create this model?

Many people ask how to go from an L3 G0 part design to a printable model. Here's my process:

1. Design: I used Bricklink Studio to assemble the model. The problem is that Studio only generates a visual model, not a printable mesh.
2. The "Brain" (Python): To solve this, I developed my own program in Python with a graphical interface.
3. The Process: My software takes the model's .ldraw file, separates each part independently, automatically scales them to the correct printing size, and exports them all together in STL format.

🚀 The future of this tool

I have invested a lot of time in this file converter. If I see that this model gets support and you are interested in the concept, I will release the program completely free of charge (non-profit).

My goal is for any of you to be able to design your own sets (or use official sets) and automatically convert them into 3D parts ready for your printer.
