This is a simple but fun little trebuchet that launches marbles across the room. It prints pretty quickly and goes together without much hassle. Just print the parts, assemble everything, load up a marble, and start launching.

You can experiment with different counterweights, arm lengths, or sling setups to see how it changes the launch distance and accuracy. It’s a fun little desk toy and also a great way to mess around with basic physics and mechanics.

I designed this model to work with standard marbles, but you can also try other small lightweight projectiles if you want to experiment a bit.

****Please don’t aim it at people, pets, TVs, or anything breakable. It can launch marbles harder than you’d expect.****

Non 3D printed parts include: superglue, up to 152 pennies (or other things to use as weight), thin string, marbles to launch, 8mm M4 machine screw x4, 16mm M4 machine screw x2, and 608 Open Hybrid Ceramic bearings x2 (these bearings can be bought from maker supply, but they are also found in many types of fidget spinners which is where i got mine from).

For assembly instructions, please view the file below.
